För att jag anser att det är viktigt att värna om demokratin och inte böja sig för diktaturers krav. Taiwan är i en extremt vansklig situation där varje steg mot att utropa sig som ett eget land på eget bevåg är ett steg närmre en storskalig attack från Kina.

Jag anser att det faktum att Taiwan sedan 1992 efter KMT och Kommunistpartiets överenskommelse om att båda länderna ansåg sig vara Kina men med olika definitioner av vad man ansåg vara "Kina" inte är en anledning för Sverige att inte erkänna Taiwan som ett land. Taiwan är en självstyrande nation som är en av de enda fungerande demokratierna i sydöstra Asien med både yttrandefrihet, religiös frihet, en ständigt ökande jämställdhet mellan könen och en öppenhet och stark avsaknad av våld och diskriminering mot HBTQ-personer.

Taiwan har ingen ställning att utropa sig som ett självständigt land självt, och hotet att med våld dras in under kommunistpartiets förtryckande envåldshärskande och helt förlora de demokratiska rättigheter de kämpat för fullständigt gör sig ständigt påmint.

Jag förstår att Sverige har starka ekonomiska intressen av handel med Kina, men kan Sverige verkligen fortsätta ta denna diktaturs parti och ignorera de brott som dagligen begås mot sitt eget folk och hotar att begås mot Taiwan och andra länder och fortfarande kalla sig ett land som står upp för mänskliga rättigheter?

I think it is really disrespectful to change a name of a country, in addition, Taiwan was never belong to the china we people known today(People's Rebuplic of China). Taiwan never and not part of china!! If change that I think Sweden will not be neutral country.
