The ending to the "Hästmannen's" story is very, very sad - however it was wonderful to actually see horses working and doing what they were bred to do (farm work is what horses have been doing for centuries). These horse had a purpose - more than simply satisfying our human need to have a pet! They were also part of a family, a working family! Today, many horses are standing in fields doing nothing but overeating and going to waste - which is by far more of a crime! - perhaps Länsstyrelsen i Jönköping needs to look at themselves and ask - "did we act in good faith?" Very sad indead - a crime against human and animal rights! I sure hope all parties involved sleep well at night - A clear conscience is a soft pillow!. 3
